I Have Always Had An Odd Dark Brown Splotchy Birthmark

I have always had an odd dark brown splotchy birthmark thing on my leg and i am just now wondering what it is. I also have kind of the same pattern of a birthmark on the face of my under region. I am a girl and was just now wondering what it is because no one I know has a birthmark like this.
