I Have An 86 Yr Old Friend Who Is Home

I have an 86 yr old friend who is home bound. His only activity is two trips a week to local pub. His neurologist NP told me he should not drink as it increases risk of his seizures. It is difficult to be enforcer making him drink ODooles beer. I drive him to the pub. What is my duty? I feel like a cop and a killjoy....this is endangering our friendship. Thanks YYYY@YYYY
