I Have An IUD Skyla And I Was Wondering If

I have an IUD Skyla and I was wondering if it causes infections or has anything to do with them because I feel as though having it has caused me to be more susceptible to infections such as BV and yeast infections I have been battling this for over a year which is how long I've had the IUD I've also had more discharge although not unormal discharge the ammount makes everyday a hassle. I've also unfortunately been exposed to chlamydia by who I think is my boyfriend. I have a long distance relationship. I got tested and my test came out positive. I made him get tested the same day and he sent me papers his came out negative I took the medicine and I thought maybe it was a false positive reading. I had then went to visit him a month later and I tested positive once again this time we have both gotten treatment and he is deployed so there has been no sexual encounters with him or anyone else have gotten treatment but it has come back I have not had intercourse since treatment which was 3 months ago and I have tested positive once again I dont understand. Do you know what could be happening here?
