I Have An Artificial Hip That Is Only Five Years

I have an artificial hip that is only five years old and has been perfect. However, i've come down with what i thought wasa case of hip busitis. Very painful on the outside of the hip and referred aroiund to the groin area. I have trouible bearing weight. Just noticed the skin is black and blue in the area as if it were injured in a fall, but there was none. My question is whether black and blue skin associated with bursitis or artificial hip failures? My hip rorated normally last week while on my back at a chiropracters so I originally ruled out a dislocation
