I Have An Endocrin Tumour Pituitary Gland. I Have Been

I have an endocrin tumour pituitary gland. I have been taking cabercoline 0.5mg for over a year. My problem is that after taking it I get terrible back ache for about three days on the lower right of my back. The consultant says this is just a side effect but my question is can anything be done to prevent/ lessen the effects. I take the cabercoline once a week with food.
