I Have An Enlarged Left Testicle - The Scrotum Feels

I have an enlarged left testicle - the scrotum feels mushy and fluid filled, and the testicle itself is not clearly definable. There is no pain or discomfort. It developed in late November, and has not changed since then. Is this possibly hydrocele? I have a regular doctor appointment next week, but am wondering in advance what might be going on.
