I Have An Enlarged Prostrate And Have Been Recommended To

I have an enlarged prostrate and have been recommended to take Finastride (sp). However the side effect possibility of that drug has me apprehensive. I am using Flomax which is working well.
This just began a week ago. Will the Flomax help reduce bladder inflamation? If so will the reduction with inflamation have any positive impact in slowing the prostrate?
