I Have An Infection In My Leg Due To Gardening

I have an infection in my leg due to gardening and my doctors unsure if ots a bite, sting or thorn from a bramble bush, I've been on fluxocillin 500mg for the past 3 days and there's improvement on the amount of fluid that was present around the wound, however, there is now sharp itchy pains around the wound itself?
