I Have An Infection In My Mouth, Have Been Prescribed

I have an infection in my mouth, have been prescribed 500 penecillen antibiotic and advised to take ibuprofen and cocodomal alternating every 2 hours. Not sure if having a little reaction as have some hives behind my ears am am a little itchy. Am I able to take piriton?
