I Have An Ingrown Toenail Or So It Seems Like

I have an ingrown toenail or so it seems like one, I cut my nail too short over a year ago and I had issues with it ever since. It got better but then it was rubbing against my shoes and it got worse again.

I went to the doctor last year for it, got an antibiotic ointment and I've been putting some on for the last few days. I also soak it in water with sea salt once or twice a day when I can.

I've noticed that now there's some granulation tissue growing on the side of the toe and I was wondering what home treatment I can do to cure it.
