I have an interesting question. Seeking factual information only from a rheumatologist or gastroenterologist. As someone diagnosed with early-stage crohns disease. I have read a study stating that psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms) which have a high affinity for 5HT(2a) receptors can completely block TNFa protein production. Apparently this is very similar to the way remicade works ( which I previously was on monthly therapy for 1 year ). Given the low risk side effects of magic mushrooms and the high cost of remicade and potential for adverse reactions: I was curious about your opinions on the effectiveness on this tx. I am a practicing nurse
