I Have An Itching Problem. Sometimes It Starts On My

I have an itching problem. Sometimes it starts on my legs then my stomach and waist area. arms itch also but not as bad. there is no rash but after I scratch a lot I have caused a lot of scars. One of my legs does have an area of redness that itches maybe twice a day. I had this once before last year and I have changed washing liquid to non-dye and I use dove soap no lotions , perfumes etc. Last year it just went away. Not sure if just extremely dry skin, menopause system or what is going on. What is best anit-itch cream to try?
