I Have An Ob Pt Who Was Tested For Group

I have an ob pt who was tested for group b strep and her vagina was overgrown with proteus and the presence of gbs was obscured. can proteus be treated with ampicillin or should it????

actually, when a gbs culture is done at 36 weeks, it is a vaginal and anal swam together but there was so much proteus the gbs prescence was obscured and now I don't know if I should treat for gbs in labor which is happening now.
