I Have An Odd Feeling In The Chest Area...have Had

I have an odd feeling in the chest area...have had a cough for the past 9 months; have been to the MD, two of them, one put me on Simbacort (and I never smoked and was seldom around a smoker. A CT scan 10 years ago detected an abnormality, some scarring. Perhaps this was due to radiation for breast cancer but no one seemed particularly concerned until I went to the MD in January. Had a chest X-ray to determine cause of cough; diagnosis of some sort of Bronchitis. The Symbicort does not seem to be doing any good; I cannot tell it is helping. Have had a couple of days of coughing fits in the past week. But the odd feeling is a sort of warm, tingly thing in the mid chest area. Can't tell if it is coming from the bronchial tubes or the esophagus. No trouble swallowing. Any clue as to what is going on? Thank you!
