I Have An Ulcer At The Back Of My Mouth

I have an ulcer at the back of my mouth just in front of my tonsil. Consequently the tonsil on that side is inflamed and that side of my mouth is red and very sore. I've been getting ear ache and pain behind my eye ever since I noticed the ulcer and was wondering if it's anything to worry about?
