I Have An Upper Respiratory Tract Infection Which Progressed To

I have an upper respiratory tract infection which progressed to otitis media with effusion(serous), I went to a clinic to check my tympanic membrane for perforation after a very small amount of clear fluid(a drop or two) came out, and the ENT resident told me that it was not perforated but it was congested, hyperemic and bulging, and prescribed Amoxicillin with potassium clavulanate, Ofloxacin ear drops, Beclomethasone Dipropionate nasal spray and Loratadine tablets 10mg (even though I don't have an allergy), so my question is does Ofloxacin ear drops help & does it even pass the tympanic membrane because I laid on my side for hours after using it and it came out when I sat up.
