I Have Basil From Surgery On My Right Hand On

I have basil from surgery on my right hand on June 26, 2018. Today is August 14 and my hand is still swollen. Little less than it has been. But I still cannot move my fingers more than an inch by themselves. I have been moving them from day one like I have been told. Physical therapy for three weeks now and I can push my fingers at least twice and hour for 10 minutes at a time. I have no strength and I am very nervous about this. Why are my fingers so affected when he only worked on my thumb.
