I Have Bee Taking Sotalol For 6 Mos (the Last

I have bee taking sotalol for 6 mos (the last 3 at 80mg twice daily). It was my belief that a reduced amt would mean fewer side effects. However, the side effects, especially shortness of breath on any physical exertion, and muscle weakness, especially in my legs, is getting worse. Now I am unable to walk without distress. is there another drug(not amioderone) to treat atypical atrial flutter?
