I Have Been A Type II Diabetic For About 10

I have been a type II diabetic for about 10 years. I also have had CABG, and one stent, plus am now being treated for cirrhosis of the liver (NARFLD). I have a history of 2 attacks of acute pancreatitis requiring hospitalization and IV antibiotic treatments. I've taken Metformin then Glipizide for years, but about 6 months ago my glucose stays above 200 daily. My doctor has me taking Tradgenta and also Trulicity. My glucose stays high 24/7. The lowest it has been is 155. Should these current meds control my glucose better? 6 months ago my A1c was 5.8, now it is 9.2.
