I Have Been Blowing My Nose Because Of A Harsh

I have been blowing my nose because of a harsh cold and I can hear creaky noises in my nostrils and sinus passage-ways (I assume). I have seen others asking about the noise in their ears but I swear mine is from back in my nose. Also, I blow my nose too long my ears feel as though they may burst. What should I do? Cough drops are not helping with this, they help for the cough but only whilst in my mouth. I am about to give up and I hate taking medications.
