I Have Been Diagnosed As Having A Throat Cyst On

I have been diagnosed as having a throat cyst on my vocal cord, I am waiting to see the doctor to discuss results, but lately the cyst has become very sore and I am finding it hard to swallow or move my neck, should i phone the hospital and ask for an earlier app, its not until the 17th june.
