I Have Been Diagnosed With A Bulging Disc And Pinched

I have been diagnosed with a bulging disc and pinched nerve at S1. No back pain, but severe pain on left leg mid thigh which does not go above or below that specific area. Pain feels like someone is stabbing my thigh with a really sharp knife. Approximately 2 hours ago I took one oxycodone-acetaminophen 10-325. It didn't stop the pain, and is making me itch all over; not too bad. Was also prescribed Meloxicam 15mg tab. Since the oxycodone didn't help relieve any pain, can I take one Meloxicam 15mg tab? Can you charge my insurance?
