I Have Been Diagnosed With A Hiatal Hernia. For About

I have been diagnosed with a hiatal hernia. For about 2 months, I have experienced sharp pain when eating. It fells like food is getting stuck in my esophagus. I have to stop eating and wait for the pain to pass. Often it causes me to cough. My doctor here said I have a web-like ring in my esophagus and if it gets worse will have to have surgery to have it stretched out. Does this conclusion make sense to you?
