I have been diagnosed with a swollen vein under my right armpit which is accompanied by several small, tender lumps. An ultrasound was done today but I won't receive the results until next week due to the Christmas holiday. It is painful when I lift my arm and an concerned that it may be some type of blot clot. Is that possible. Should I wait until next week for the results or should I go to the emergency room?
