I Have Been Diagnosed With An Auto Immune Disease But

I have been diagnosed with an auto immune disease but have also been told whatever i have has not fully developed. I hurt constantly in my joints, get bladder infections very easily & feel exhausted all the time. I was an EMT for a few years. During that time i got sick with a needle that had been used to start an IV on an elderly woman. I was told she didn't have anything i could be infected with. Is it possible my problems could be from that sick?
