I Have Been Diagnosed With H-pylori After A Endoscopy In

I have been diagnosed with h-pylori after a endoscopy in may 14. At the time I was on prednisone because I have itp and was trying to get my blood platelets up to have a hip replacement done,I now have that done for 12 months. We have just returned home from 3 months travelling around top area of Australia in the tropics plus up the centre and down the west. 3 weeks before we got back I got bloated in the stomach and feeling a bit sick and bit loose in the bowel also no energy, could that be the h- pylori. On our travels we had to get water that I drank through a filter, wondering if that may have up set me. Thank you.
