I Have Been Diagnosed With Patella Dislocation Of The Right

I have been diagnosed with patella dislocation of the right knee. I have been experiencing alot more pain within the last couple of weeks...pain all over the knee and at the back of the knee. I've been having more trouble walking and putting weight on it. I have also been administering the RICE method, also alternating heat as well. Could the extensive pain be from the knee dislocation or a meniscus tear? Thank you!
