I Have Been Diagnosed With Trigeminal Neuralgia About 3 Months

I have been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia about 3 months ago. I have trialed the use of Gabapentin that only lasted 2 weeks and then dosage increased. This was not effective and then changed to Trileptal. This only lasted about 2 1/2 weeks and now increased. The pain is severe and lasting all day now. I am having nausea more and numbness on that side of my face and left foot. as well. Is it common for Trigeminal Neuralgia to progress this fast? What should I ask Neuro this week when I see tham?
