I Have Been Doing Very Well On Atkins Introduction. I

I have been doing very well on Atkins introduction. I just found out that I am pregnant and because I'm overweight by 100 lbs and this is my second child, I was told I am high risk for gestational diabetes. I have done a lot of research on every aspect of following a low carb diet while pregnant is not safe because a low carb diet obviously is lacking in complex carbohydrates. The problem with this is that this type of diet is also lacking Folic Acid. I also have read on multiple websites that you need to not exceed 75 grams of protein a day and to distribute that between 3 or more servings a day. My question is, can I safely follow the Atkins diet with carefully calculating my protine servings and only getting my carbohydrates from fruits and vegetables and taking a folic acid, vitamin b, and fiber supplement in addition to my prenatal vitamins? I get a two part prenatal supplement from whole foods that has the amount of each vitamin and mineral you need decided into two separate capsules. It's called prenatal one I think I can sauté in healthy fat like olive oil or flax so I am getting the amount of calories I need. Right now I eat around 1800 calories a day give or take 100.
