I Have Been Experiencing For The Past 2 Weeks A

I have been experiencing for the past 2 weeks a constant itching all over my body. Could this be pruitis and how can I find out what actually is causing the problem. I had an ultra sound done to look at a gall stone I have. Techncian advised about having it removed. Itching started at same time I felt pain in my right side just where the rib is. Need to know ho to see about this and find out the cause. Could the gall stone be the cause of the itching?
