I Have Been Experiencing My Ears Not Normalizing When I

I have been experiencing my ears not normalizing when I come down the hill to work. It feels like they need to "pop" but they don't until I go back up the hill. I have asthma. I don't have a cold. I am taking Vicodin for a Gall Bladder problem for which I am getting surgery on 8/3/2015 however I have never had this problem with Vicodin before. I think I may have an ear infection.
