I Have Been Experiencing Pain On My Left Side From

I have been experiencing pain on my left side from my hip all the way down to my foot. My side gets numb when I am sitting on the floor or sitting in a chair or lying in bed. but when I am walking I do not have the pain. Could it be from my hip cuz my Chriopractor told me that my hip wont stay in place nor will my tail bone, but I don't feel that pain in my hip or tail bone a lot. I also have bad knees. Could it be bad circulation?
