I Have Been Experiencing Phantosomia Since December 24th Or 25th.

I have been experiencing phantosomia since December 24th or 25th. I smell smoke where there is no smoke present. Sometimes it is very strong and other times it is barely noticeable. I have an annual physical coming up in two weeks. What should I ask the Dr to check for? I don't have any cold or sinus symptoms. I do have occasional headaches in the sinus area. It is very unusual for me to have a headache.
