I Have Been Experiencing Very Tender Nipples And The Outer

I have been experiencing very tender nipples and the outer sides of my breasts. I have had a hysterectomy 7 years ago. I have not had this trouble before. No lumps, hardening or feverlike symptoms. I was not this sore when I breast fed my son many years ago. Any ideas as to what this could possibly be.
