I Have Been Feeling A Popping Feeling Under Or Right

I have been feeling a popping feeling under or right on top of my right (mid)rib-I cant tell the exact place for sure. It seems to be right under my right breast. Its as though a vein is pulsating really fast. I had been diagnosed with gall stones and treated for it about 10-12 months ago. I have been cured of gall stones. Aside from the popping feeling I also have been feeling slight sharp pains (lasting not more than 4 seconds) on the same side just a bit lower. I just want to know whether this is something I should be worried about. Or go to the doctor for.
