I Have Been Feeling Muscle Aches, Severe Tiredness, Sharp Neck

I have been feeling muscle aches, severe tiredness, sharp neck pain in the back of my neck, and headaches. These symptoms have been going on for about a week and a half and I have been taking ibuprofen and pain releviers everyday and they only help for a small amount of time. The sharp neck pains have been happening for over a year and have learned to just deal with them. This pain is becoming unbearable, what could be the causes and is it necessary to go to the ER?
