I have been feeling off for the past couple of weeks. Short of breath, strange headaches that weren't migraine related. Yesterday while just walking from my car to my house my arm, chest, and shoulder suddenly seized. I tried to shake it off, but I've never experienced anything like it. I have a bp monitor because I get migraine induced hypertension. My doctor agrees that as long as I monitor it I can stay off a preventative. My blood pressure has actually been very good for a while. I am walk 1-2 miles a day, but haven't been able to keep up. I was told that I have an aneurism in my aortic sinus, as well as pulmonary hypertension. The doctor monitoring its progress has since retired. I kind of forgot about it until yesterday. I went to the ER for an eval. My bp was 200/115. That's high for me. The doctor said that I wasn't having a heart attack, but my heart rate was high. There also wasn't a blood clot in my lungs. The doctor told me that it was probably a muscle issue. My bp went down while I was there to 156/110. He told me to go back if my bp went up. I didn't get a chance to tell him about my history. My bp a couple hours after being home went up to 180/111. I don't want to go back if there's no reason to.
