I Have Been Feeling Sick. I Get Severe Chills With

I have been feeling sick. I get severe chills with goose bumps and aches and pains and cannot warm up for hours. Then I do warm up and the overheat and sweat for hours,but do not feel sick or have aches and pains at that time. Then I get cold again. It has been going on for days. Could it be my thyroid?
