I Have Been Getting Contractions All Week But Not Pain

I have been getting contractions all week but not pain full but they do come one after another and I am now past my due date by a day and it's odd because my doctor expected my baby to arrive a week earlier and I have noticed a twitching on my right knee cap for the past week should I go in and get checked?
