I Have Been Having A Cough On And Off For

I have been having a cough on and off for ABOUT 3-4 months...3 weeks ago, I had a chest xray done at a local health clinic and the dr said I had mild pneumonia...After 2 antibiotics and an inhaler, I am even more exhausted than I was, and still coughing TONS....I also have muscle and joint pain...I had another chest xray done yesterday that showed the same thing as the first one, and the dr wants me to get a CT scan...My question is: Do you think since antibiotics aren't working, that I may have viral pneumonia? I also am a bit concerned because I have been a second hand smoker most of my life, that it may be more serious than mild pneumonia...
