I Have Been Having A Hard Time Talking For Months

I have been having a hard time talking for months because it feels like I'm talking out of my ear. If I plug that ear, I feel like I can talk normal. I have horrible allergies and I blew my nose too hard about 2 years ago, and it felt like my ear popped and sounded like air was coming out of my ear. Went to a regular doctor a few weeks ago (because my ear gets continually worse) and he said it's not ruptured. Not sure what to do at this point.
