I Have Been Having A Problem With My Left Eye..

I have been having a problem with my left eye.. It's been twitching about 10 times a day for the last month or so..it gets so bad I have to hold my eye to stop it? I also have a problem with my left hand..my thumb and pinky shake with out my controller? When I am texting I have to stop because my thumb keeps hitting the keys? Do I need to get this checked? Thank you
