I Have Been Having A Shocking Pain In My Upper

I have been having a shocking pain in my upper thigh and butt as well as on top of my pubic area. It feels numb and cold and it feels like a needle like sensation. It has lasted for a week and it comes and goes. I saw that this could be caused by herpes but I went to the doctor a month ago for a yeast infection and she swabbed me to check if it was anything other than that. What could be the problem? Is there any chance the virus entered my body?
