I Have Been Having A Swelling And Slight Pain In

I have been having a swelling and slight pain in the left side of my throats mostly comes after eating or drinking. It is causing pressure in my left ear as well. Have ruled out ear infection and strep but doctors have no idea what it is. Could this be something to do with my salivary gland?
