I Have Been Having Acupuncture Treatment Of Almost 10 Weeks

I have been having acupuncture treatment of almost 10 weeks now. My last session (9th session) last week gave me so much pain when needles pricked two areas - one on lower back and one on the ankles, but I stayed on without complain for 45 minutes. Now it's been over a week and my condition became worst from better. I am worried that it may have damaged the nerves. Is that possible.
