I Have Been Having Difficulty Staying Awake During The Day.

I have been having difficulty staying awake during the day. If u sit down for any amount of time I doze off. 45 yr old nurse with a 8 yr old . Have take the narcolepsy test and scored 23 . I also suffer from the sealed and numbing of the line after waking and sometimes before. I have found a med they have been and ( xyrem?) Don't want to be prescribed something with such side effects.
