I Have Been Having Extreme Hip Pain For 2 Weeks.

I have been having extreme hip pain for 2 weeks. I have an appointment to see an orthopedist but not for 2 more weeks. My regular physician has given me 2 shots of toradol during these past two weeks. Can I go for another shot this week without having side effects, and what's the best muscle relaxer for this pain. I am mostly comfortable standing up - when I bend at the waist it sends shooting pain in my hip and down my front thigh.
