I Have Been Having Increased Over Period Of Years Mucle

I have been having increased over period of years mucle spasms/cramping in my legs hands feet even my abdomen. Now my back spasms mid back mostly on the right side nut as of yesterday I had a spasm just below the scapula on the right side. I do take 5 mg simvastatin/day. What sould the causes be including the statin. I will mention 15 years ago I was very active walked a full flight of stairs several times a day in my job. I was given Lipitor 10 mgs /day and in three weeks time I could not use my legs to walk up a flight of stairs without puliing myself up with my arms.
