I Have Been Having Intermitting Pain On My Left Side

I have been having intermitting pain on my left side for about one week now. I had a chronic bout of diverticulosis when I was 37 due to IBS and have continued to have some pain in the same place for years when I have gas. I am now 50 and recently lost 17 pounds on Weight watchers with no problem. It doesn't feel like the same symptoms like last time because I don' t eat seeds, nuts, corn anymore. I don't eat junk food and eat high fiber. what you think....
