I Have Been Having Issues With My Left Ear And

I have been having issues with my left ear and tonsil accompanied with a headache in the left side of my head. I had a raging ear infection in my left ear treated with amox. i finished the antibiotic, but now my left tonsil is swollen and my ear feels heavy and still have that headache. I am a smoker for 12 years. I am fearful I have tonsil cancer. thoughts?
